I’m so thrilled you’ve made your way to my sunny site!

My name is Kaeli Murphy and I guess I’m the CEO, head designer, admin assistant, accountant and everything else for Sunny Side Interiors.

I live in the best city in the UK, Birmingham, with my husband, and when I’m not designing I work for a charity which supports women at risk of exploitation on the streets. I love music (not in a casual way, it’s actually pretty intense), summer dresses, exploring cute European towns, pink flowers, going for brunch, Aperol Spritz, dancing anywhere and everywhere, and people. Oh, and THE SUN.

I’ve created a home for myself and my husband which so reflects who we are as people: colourful, fun, cosy, a little silly, and full of character. We LOVE to host friends, family and neighbours in our home so that we can share a bit of that joy with others; we’ve always had a vision that our home could be a safe haven for whoever needs one. Our friends loved our home so much that, eventually, I decided to listen to them and start my own interior design business!

I am passionate about creating joyful spaces. Every person deserves to live in a home that reflects who they are; that includes you! Your resting, dinner partying, movie watching, cooking, sleeping, celebrating, primping, hosting, takeout eating and work from home-ing should happen in a place that makes you happy!
